30th Congress of the CNT France : Consolidate International Solidarity
The 30th Confederal Congress of the CNT took place on the 19th, 20th and 21st of September in the Northern French town of Lille. CNT AND THE NEW LABOUR LAW REFORM IN FRANCE
As the law of labour unions is being reformed it is worthwhile to take a closer look at the whole concept of "representativity" . What is it? What does it mean? Will the way we debate and live inside or workplaces change? Presently, the government wants to redefine which unions may live inside enterprises and which may not. Solidarity with Serge of the CNT PTT : the Struggle Continues !
Friday 26 September 2008 the CNT together with fellow workers from SUD and CGT appeared in front post offices in many cities (Paris, Marseille, Perpignan, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Lyon, Aubenas, Lille, Grenoble, etc.) to express its support for Serge Reynaud, a post worker of Marseille 01 and member of our union. French Post Office versus a CNT Member
After the strike of May 2008 a mail carrier from the Bouches du Rhône region is under attack. Serge Reynaud, who works in Marseille has been summoned to appear before the central disciplinary commission of the French Post Office in Paris on September 10. His job is on the line. Auchan surrenders
Piotr Krzzaniak’s case came to an end. Piotr Krzy¿aniak, who is an activist of the Workers’ Initiative from Zielona Góra, was illegally fired from Auchan. On today’s case in the court (25th June), a shopping centre in Zielona Góra put forward a proposal Auchan to reach an agreement, accepting two fundamental demands, a disciplinary dismissal was withdrawn and they withdrew claiming 4000 zlotys, which the employer said was stolen by Krzyzaniak. CNT activist atacked
Those last days CNT members suffered two attacks : In Lille (North of France) the CNT block was attacked by fascist (Identitaries Youth, a nazi group more radical than the National Front) last thursday 15th of may, during the strike and demonstration of the civil service. Later in the same demonstration, activists of CNT were attacked by the Police because they protected Paperleeses workers in danger of arrest. A syndicate (SITRAPETEN) from Guatemala contact us to explain us the case of syndical represion they are suffer in an entrepise called Peten Agua Pura Salvavidas. 1rst of May in Paris (video)
The CNT block was not so big as during I 07 sure but with more than 2000 persons (press declaration). In the CNT block were present comrades paperlesses of CNT in strike actually (the pub Charlie Birdy is ocupaped now since more than 2 weeks and comrades paperlesses of the union of CNT Construction sector).
